  • As a child, I looked forward to all the traditions my family and I had every year at Christmastime; going to see Christmas lights, Christmas Eve with my whole family, worshiping and celebrating the birth of Jesus with friends and family and many more. This week, please write a one page paper telling me about your family traditions at Christmas time. Students will share this with the class on Thursday. This may be handwritten or typed on the computer. Students will receive a grade in writing for this and a speech grade for presenting it to the class. I can’t wait to hear all the wonderful traditions!
  • Math Workbook page 101 - Test on Wednesday
  • Read nightly**parents sign reading log. AR goals are due on Thursday!

  • Bible: Jesus calls the rest of his disciples, ***As you know, the students are memorizing the names of the 12 Disciples-Students will be quizzed Friday. Names of the 12 Disciples : Simon-Peter, Andrew, James son of Zebedee, John, Philip, Bartholomew, Thomas, Matthew, James son of Alphaeus, Thaddaeus, Simon, Judas.

Bible: We will be learning about how Jesus prepares for his Earthly ministry. John the Baptist and how he baptized Jesus. Discussing the Trinity again. We will also discuss the Temptation of Jesus. (Matt. 4:1-11)

Grammar: Prepositions-paper went home last week-please the first 20 by next Friday 8/24.
